Mark Dwyer is a criminal defense attorney who briefly served as Tim Heidecker's court-appointed counsel during his murder trial.

Tim Heidecker stood trial for the deaths of 20 teenagers at the Electric Sun Desert Music Festival in 2018. Dwyer was appointed to be Tim's defense attorney.

Tim fired Dwyer on the first day of the trial, choosing to self-represent.

Sometime after the trial, Dwyer began working with the Delgado family. The Delgados began taking away Tim's intellectual properties, including Dekkar, Decker, and even On Cinema itself. Tim became despondent after the legal battles drained him both financially and emotionally, and contemplated taking his own life by jumping off of the 6th Street Bridge. However, at the last moment, he called Dwyer and gave him an hour to make a deal. Fifty-six minutes later, Dwyer called Tim back and informed him he convinced the Delgados to allow Tim 30 days to turn On Cinema into a quality product, quite literally talking Tim off the ledge.
