Aidan Boyle is Tim Heidecker's first (and, currently, only) son, from Tim's marriage to Stephanie. Very little was known about Aidan, including his name, until it was revealed at the Last On Cinema Oscar Special that he was the lead animator and co-producer of Tim's (then referred to as New Amato) new series Dootle Dots.

In early 2013, Tim took Aidan out on a fishing trip. He was demonstrating how to bone a fish when he accidentally cut the tip of his finger off.^[1]
