HEI Network ESA Campus

The HEI Network ESA Campus has been the setting of On Cinema at the Cinema and the headquarters of HEI Network since the 2025 Summer Movie Roundup special. The campus, which appears to consist of two rooms in an Extended Stay Hotel, has also been the living quarters for New Heidecker and Gregg Turkington since the collapse of the Movie House following the 12th Annual On Cinema Oscar Special.

New's room at the ESA campus was the taping location for the 2025 Summer Movie Roundup. The room features a swiveling desk chair, a desk with a landline phone, a brown couch, a framed photo of a tree, and a kitchen area that was decorated with a HEI Network sticker on the fridge and boxes of Act II and popsecret microwaveable popcorn. Several cups of coffee are visible on the set, with Gregg using one as a miniature popcorn bucket. New's room also appears to have two beds, as seen in the image of him sick in bed from S16E01, as well as a framed photo of a red door frame.

Gregg's room at the ESA campus is the taping location for season 16 of On Cinema at the Cinema. The room is more decorated for the occasion than New's, featuring two wooden desk chairs that New and Gregg both sit on, a cinema themed blanket on the bed, a jaws branded bottle of wine, and blue stars and movie reels decorated above what appears to be a bedframe for a bed that is not there behind the two chairs. Also visible is Gregg's wardrobe, consisting of promotional movie shirts, with a suitcase, a popcorn box, and tinsel placed to the side of it. There appear to be no extra chairs for guests, so guests sit on the corner of the visible bed.^[1]

• It's unknown if the crew are actually renting out rooms at an Extended Stay America hotel or have faithfully recreated the rooms for season 16.
  • A look at Extended Stay America hotel rooms near Hollywood show a lot of the same details as what can be seen in both rooms, like the red door frame picture, the bedframe with fake headboards, and the yellow and green painted walls.
