The tenth episode of On Cinema at the Cinema's sixteenth season, as well as the final episode overall, premiered on HEI Network on December 3, 2025, the first episode following the funeral of G. Amato. Host New Heidecker states at the start of the episode that the show was “no longer welcome” at the Grand Terrace Manor. New and guest Gregg Turkington instead appear in Gregg's room at the HEI Network ESA Campus, making this another episode of On Cinema at the Cinema at the ESA.
New and Gregg immediately jump into movie reviews to afford time for a big announcement. While the episode title only lists Hamnet and Ella McCay, New grants Gregg the ability to review a third movie, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, as well as present the Popcorn Classic Alf 5 (2025, ??? mins.), though New notes they are the “final” review and Popcorn Classic, to Gregg's confusion.
New announces at the end of the episode that, after 13 years of On Cinema at the Cinema, New is retiring from broadcasting and relocating to Lake Havasu, Arizona. He also states that this is the final episode of the series, and that he wishes Gregg all the best with posting reviews and such online. New also notes he has committed to appearing in the oscar13, which he will consider the end of the overall franchise, and that he will focus on storytelling and animation with his upcoming doodledots project. Gregg protests, stating he can do the show with a different host, as the movie criticism is what the people want, not him or New.
New ends the episode, and series, thanking God, before smacking Gregg's bag of popcorn in frustration as he continued to protest. As the lights dim, New tells Gregg to pack up as Gregg's room was being paid for by the HEI Network and New is checking out tonight.

Aftermath
New, referring to himself as New Amato Heidecker, published an article on HEI Network News the following Wednesday further signaling that On Cinema at the Cinema was over. He states that he “simbly don't have time to watch the movies any more” as he moves to Lake Havasu, continues work on doodledots, sues sizzler, and establishes amatofund. New also re-confirms his commitment to the next Oscar special and the 2026 tour, now advertised as the “Farewell Tour”. HEI Network is expected to continue as New looks into developing news and content “that people might actually be interested in (no movie talk)”.
