The sixth episode of On Cinema at the Cinema's sixteenth season, also the second episode of On Cinema at the Cinema at the Manor, premiered on HEI Network on November 5, 2025. The episode features host New Heidecker and guest Gregg Tirkington reviewing the films The Running Man and Predator: Badlands.

Barbara Reynolds, the director at the Grand Terrace Manor that the show now tapes in, appears as a guest to discuss how she got her job and what issues the Manor currently faces, including COVID-19. New briefly suggests riogenesis' Warp 10 product, though says he will discuss this more with her later. He also laments the smaller audience compared to last week and asks Mrs. Reynolds to promote On Cinema more. G. Amato is present in the crowd. New also plugs the successful Music Night at the Manor that happened Monday prior, with New and Axiom from Dekkar performing covers and original songs to a receptive audience.

Gregg and the Victorville Film Archives donate two posters to the Manor and announce that the VFA has been re-editing TV shows like ALF and 3rd Rock from the Sun into movies, having made 9 films for ALF so far. Gregg presents the film Double Team to the audience after the episode ends.

  • Gregg's wardrobe in this episode consists of a hat for The Core (2003, 135 mins.) and a shirt for Proof of Life (2000, 135 mins.).
    • In addition, the image of Gregg recording TV show DVDs with his camcorder shows that he was wearing a hat for look closer

    • Ads for places and events have aired on On Cinema before, but usually after the episode and usually for projects related to New, Gregg, or the show.
    • The podcast version of On Cinema On Demand had commercial breaks as well, but were put in haphazardly.

[META]

  • The commercial in this episode, ClearCaptions, is a legitimate commercial for a legitimate product that was, almost definitely, put in the episode illegitimately.
