The buffs are back with two fresh reviews.

Synopsis

A premature “It's Movie Time!” from Gregg is immediately shut down by Tim, who welcomes the viewers to the new season and gives an update on the past few months. Tim says that after Delgado Media Holdings took the On Cinema property from him, his “business team” analyzed the company from the outside and concluded that the Delgados were close to axing the brand completely, thanks in part to Gregg's “inaction.” Tim then holds up the thick stack of documents detailing the transfer of the On Cinema properties back to him, and exults that the show is now his again. To facilitate the repurchase of On Cinema, Tim reveals, he turned to an “online bank” called MoneyZap, which he found on a Google search. After filling out his information, Tim found $25,000 in his bank account “within minutes,” allowing him to buy back the On Cinema property.

With the business out of the way, the first movie for today is Abominable. Tim describes it as Bigfoot “in the snow,” and “almost a movie for kids,” and awards it five bags. Gregg calls it a “modern take” on older myths and legends. He says is “ushers in a new era” of animation technology, and concurs with Tim's rating. Judy stars Renee…..Z, and is a biopic of Judy Garland, from The Wizard of Oz (1939, 102 mins). Tim picks it to win an Oscar and opines that it “makes you think about singing.” Gregg was initially hesitant to see the movie, not wanting to see a documentary about a concert. But he changed his mind when he heard it was about Judy Garland, curious to see Dorothy's life after returning to Kansas.

Tim announces that his documentary, Mister America, premieres in October. Gregg also announces the creation of the Mobile VFA, “Phase 2” of the Victorville Film Archives, which will expand public access to the archive.

To close out the show, Gregg wants to premiere his new segment, Classic Movie Time, but Tim instead chooses to thank Jesus Christ for His divine assistance, and for leading him to MoneyZap. Tim closes his eyes for a minute of “silent prayer,” as Gregg irreverently munches on popcorn.
